Clemmons is a BALLER

I think Sapp may wind up being our best SG. Unless MG becomes consistent scoring from range, he may be the odd man out, eventually. TD and Sapp would be a formidable guard combination if TD also becomes consistent and learns to run the offense. Jok may be 2nd in line behind Sapp. If Jok explodes (like I believe he will) we'll have fun watching Sapp and Jok rotating at the 2, and Jok and JU at the 3.

It appears he had a classic case of the "sophomore jinx". It's good to see him playing so well and the depth we have at PG. I think Gesell will also pick things up as the season progresses and will adjust to the 2 spot when they are on the court at the same time.

Gesell is pg and clemmons is 2 guard. Fran has even said it. Plus gesell initiates the offense...that is what pgs do.

i thought jok would be our best 2 but clemmons has really taken to the move and looks like it fits his game more on offense and defense. He is a poor on ball defender but really good on the wing, off the ball. He also seems more under control on offense off the ball.

Exactly. Clemmons has been great shooting the ball so far but he isn't going to be running the show exclusively unless Gesell gets dinged up or is in foul trouble. Some think Mike will be the odd man out and perceive him as a bad PG because he hasn't scored efficiently up to this point. As I have posted in other threads, Mike's stats show he is one of the better distributors in the conference and the nation. That is what a point guard is supposed to do. Run the offense and distribute the ball.

What? I like Clemmons and I'm glad he's off to a good start but this is a guy who over the course of the previous two years has been the definition of shaky. He has a TO rate of over 30% for his career. The reason he wasn't able to stay on the floor last year was because of how turnover prone he was against good defenses.
His shooting has enabled Fran to play Sapp at SG, which helps him control the TOs. Similarly, I've noticed Jok being played more at SF vs SG, perhaps in an attempt to limit his TOs.
