Clarett back at Ohio St.

What a waste of talent though...he could really play...Sad that some of these guys don't have the smarts to take advantage of their chance

I think it's great. Hopefully his eyes are open now and he will get his degree and turn his life around.

It's easy to forget now, with all the off the field issues he has had, how good of a running back he was. As a true freshman he ran for like 1200 yards despite missing three or so games with an injury. If he would have just kept his mouth shut and played football he would have been another of OSU's all time great running backs.

hes actually been going under facial reconstruction and all new name change while he has been gone..osu will have him on the field
I wish, if he was in shape he'd be a starter. Clarett was the most talented RB I've ever seen at OSU. He was the truth.....

Really? Better than Eddie G. and Robert Smith?
I guess I didn't pay enough attn to MoC when he was on the field. I know he was legit, but most talented you've seen @ OSU?

Eddie was great, eventually. As a true freshman Clarett was unbelievable, talent wise I think he was the best. Clarett's field vision set him apart and his potential at the college level was limitless. Even though MC made his own bed the story is still sad.....

I dont buy the whole Prison changed them bit...I'm not saying for some it doesn't work, but he was locked away from all his former friends and all the bad stuff he was into, anyone would have time to think. If he can stay out of trouble now then, maybe he really changed.

heh heh...I'm sorry the guy is a loser and I could not care one bit less if he does well for himself or not. The way he tried to make the OSU program into the bad guy when he was trying to leave early says it all about the guy. They gave him the chance and he did it all for them for his 1 year there...until he tried to backstab his way into the NFL early when they said he couldn't go. Rules are rules bro...who the **** are you to change them. The guy is a joke.

I was always surprised to hear "pundits" say he wasn't that fast. He always looked to have an amazing burst off the ball and hit the holes quick as hell. And he was obviously "field-smart", as well, as shown by the awareness to cause that fumble after Miami/FL got that INT or fumble.

I was impressed by his blog. Although I usually regard blogs for what they are--ranging from the egomaniacal ravings of semi-literate left-wing nuts to the self-aggrandizement by the self-important--MoC's blog hinted STRONGLY of real change within his heart. No blaming the coaches, university, agents, friends, etc. He took responsibility, owned his mistakes and set out to find his path in life.

And, NO, he does NOT have eligibility!
