The NFL is starting to become like the NBA where there are 12-14 teams worth watching. If those 14 or so teams are not in the mix you get dogshit.

If I'm CJ, he wants Hoyer to last as long as possible...and hopefully the OL gets better. Hoyer has been getting hit a ton. It's likely CJ gets the call because Hoyer is banged up at some point. I'm not sure this gets better with CJ in the game.

If I'm CJ, he wants Hoyer to last as long as possible...and hopefully the OL gets better. Hoyer has been getting hit a ton. It's likely CJ gets the call because Hoyer is banged up at some point. I'm not sure this gets better with CJ in the game.

I'd like to think the OL would play better with someone worth protecting behind them...

But Kittle will be starting so still worth watching in my book.

You start Hoyer until they are 0-8 or so...out of playoff contention, you start CJB and see what you have in the 2nd half of the season. Then SF knows if they draft a #1 qb or not.

In NFL, MLB, NBA with revenue sharing/big TV money...little reason for losing teams to spend more money than they need...to entice fans to watch and attend. Check $$$$ is in the mail either way.
