CJ got to play

The 2 wins are against teams combined 0-8
Hmmm.

I'm pretty sure the Jets and Giants are 0-10 combined.

Can you apply yourself for once instead of scrambling after someone calls out your BS? There's a pattern here.

I mean it's totally obvious that you had to scramble and were pressed for time to save your impeccable informational reputation, but did it not occur to you to at least pick a source that wasn't a week old? Just a little effort, Bueller. That's all I'm asking.

When I asked you the other day if you were ever frequently told you'd have potential if you weren't so lazy, I'm beginning to think maybe that wasn't just satire.

The 9ers last year were pretty conservative on O relying heavily on the run. They looked like the nfl version of Iowa when things are going well. When injuries mount and opponents see what you are there is no element of surprise. CJ was chosen because he is a Hawk. The 9ers have no running game this year. They look very 2011-2014:Hawkish. Very painful to watch.

9ers gonna have issues keeping
any questions healthy. CJ isn't NFL material.

Pass protection is their biggest issue. They rely on play action and roll outs to be successful with their passing game because when they drop strait back that's usually not pretty. Trent Williams through these first few games has been pretty dissapointing. If they don't get that shored up teams will be locked in on their running game more and will only make that tougher for them to do.

I think in regards to their running game some of the stats are skewed by some long break out ones they've had. I mean they all count it all matters. But that Mostert dude will rip off a 60 plus yard run and then have 80 yards total for the game often kinda thing. So it skews the overall effectiveness of the running game stats if only 1 or 2 possessions of the game are successful at it. They weren't marching down the field 5-6 yard chunks every possession by any means.

They have issues with the defensive secondary. Big issues so with their record how it is and the rest of the NFC west being as good as they are it's almost (is for me) tanking territory. Just because they mathematically aren't out of the playoff run doesn't mean they aren't. Because I don't see a path for them to get there with that schedule. It's brutal. 2-3 through what shoulda been the easiest part of it... Yikes.

I think the 9ers are playing for draft position now and the worst thing they could do is go 7-9 or 8-8 cause that won't get them in the playoffs. Not even close in that division. Being mediocre is the worst thing you can be in football. It's tougher to improve roster with high paid middle of the road talented players.

How does this affect CJ? Well he's gotten a little audition but he probably wouldn't be considered anything but a backup by anyone else around the league either. What the 9ers do at the Qb position overall may really come to a head at the end of the year. Jimmys contract it sounds like is easy for them to get out from under and CJ will be a FA I think. Mullens is on a 1 yr deal too. So they went from having 3 QBs to maybe none of em coming back next yr.. Gotta love the NFL.

Totally pass protection. Opponents also know the 9ers rely on the run. Year 1, OK fool me once. Next time, no. Almost no team can rely on the run as much as the 9ers did last year and almost won the whole thing, but that apprehension to pass is what cost them.

I just forgot. Today, I'm siding my house and id that is a hurry. I'm asking for you to make sense and not show your self esteem issues by getting consistently into name calling.

What are the 10 teams ahead of them?

I'll get it for you when I restart that computer. Anyway, been a 9er fan since before you were born.

Jimmy G though is a fine qb that the coach doesn't trust late for some reason.

What in the ever loving hell are you talking about? Do you actually watch football? Serious question.

I mean we all expect your posts to be a bunch of made up horse pucky, but this one...

49ers league ranks after week 5:

Rush YDS: 6th
YDS/Carry: 6th
YDS/Game: 9th
Rushing TDs: 2nd
Fumbles: 1
Fumbles lost: 0

Where do you actually come up with this stuff, or are you just trolling us?

I watched more of the 9ers last week and this week and highlights and their passing blocking looks to have regressed, looks like CJ's first two years there where the pressure is any of the 3 qbs face pretty fast.

Garrapolo was under siege as was CJ a lot. So maybe they need to pound the rock more often .

But a lot of teams surprised yesterday, the Browns against a tough Dee in Indy, the LV Raiders had a pass rush to pressure and contain Mahomes and make him look pedestrian almost. 9ers losing, good thing I dont bet on these guys

Someone on this thread said CJ isnt nfl starting material but it just depends on the team, the head coach, their philosophy. If he is on a good running team with a healthy defense (which the 9ers arent right now or at least their pass rush is down) and CJ can play with a lead with that running game I think he is accurate enough, quick enough to lead the right team.

The coaches really Fd up putting Jimmy out there to start this game too. They shoulda known by last Wed/Thur that he wasn't good to go. Give CJ the 1st team reps and go into that game that way. Now that wouldn't have slowed down Fitzpatrick from doing what he did other then maybe some of the 3 and outs Jimmy had (and interceptions) wouldn't have happened thus limiting his possessions. Impossible to really know but clearly that'd have been the better option.. Jimmy couldn't plant his feet and throw. Everything was a lollypop and sailed on him. I don't understand the mindset of putting a QB out there that's at 70% or less mobility wise to a backup that's 100% and capable like CJ was. He also knew through 4 games the Oline had stunk and he'd need to have his QB be as mobile as could be. Coaches aren't off the hook for this loss either plenty of blame to go around

Then tell me the other teams.

You worried that I’m not working or trying to distract?

No, actually I'm taking breaks from siding my house and am using spotify out the windows. I need to restart the computer as chrome isn't working, it crashed. It's an 8 yo computer.

Your insecurities are hilarious, but with what you shared, I do understand and I'm not rubbing it in on that.

Guarantee you know more about ice fishing and umping that what I could ever do. I' doubt you've coached as much as me. Your airplane knowledge is impressive and I'm sure you have plenty of professional knowledge about what ever that is, but you've never said.

The banter is enjoyable to agree and you do know how to play nice in the sand box when you want to do so.

You have any advice on grain markets right now as I sure can't figure it out?

The 9ers are more like KF coached team than any other. When it works it's beautiful. When it doesn't it's ugly. They are pretty ugly right now with 2 left with Seattle and other better teams.

Do you remember the days of Brodie and the Washington's?

Oh yes, John Brodie and that crew played in the playoffs and I think one NFC Championship game around 1972. They had some really good teams but I cant remember their head coach

1) I'm going to assume because of your weak attempt at changing the subject that you're not interested in sharing where you got your statistics, and you're admitting by default to being full of crap.

2) If I coached a half an inning of t-ball it'd be a more than your illustrious career in total (which is zero). You've outed yourself as a fake more times than can fit in this post.

3) If you can't get even the most rudimentary football statistics pulled from a newspaper there's zero chance you're making grain transactions with someone else's money.
