Yeah one of their tackles was in and out of the lineup that night and they didn't run the ball all that well either. The 9ers line was 'fine' I don't think they had any injuries to blame. They just played like crap

In Mullins defense, the pick 6 he threw was perfect. Found the defender in stride, put the ball right in his hands and let him find his way right into the end zone. Some QBs throw a great deep ball...Mullins throws a great pick 6.

If Garappolo is out I would love to see CJ get the start but sometimes these head coaches are stubborn as are the GM's who want to see 'their guy' or the guy they kept do well and get the PT.

As a bears fan all I can say is Jay Cutler!!! What they kept seeing in that guy I do not know as he was talented but so up and down. You need consistent play at QB to have a winner. I think two years ago Trubisky had a very good year and was making the throws and the scrambles and the bears won the division but then Trubisky played bad in the first playoff game and it was exit time. Last year he was not so good iirc.

I don’t think Shanahan is that stubborn. He made a public statement benching Mullens after that last INT because the game was already lost.

One thing about it is that Shanahan doesn’t have the same soft spot for CJ that we do as Hawk fans, and his main concern is getting Garappolo back in there (which it should be). Jimmy is the better QB of the three and after that loss you’re gonna see them do everything in their power to get him playing again.
 
Yea, I'm not sure CJ will be #2 after that game. He was impressive as hell, but playing vs a prevent defense in a soft zone is NOTHING like playing vs a regular NFL defense with press coverage. Mullens had a horrible game, but he's also got some wins under his belt this year as a starter. No doubt, tho, that CJ's value went up significantly, and you can bet there were some GMs watching that game. Good for him.

I bet I've seen it about the same number of times. I had it on VHS as well, taped off of network TV. I bet my parents have it somewhere still as well. One of my favorite parts of those old VHS movies are the commercials, takes me back man. Just watched it again with my 10 year old, been blowin through the Alien movies recently though
 
CJ starting 2nd half against Dolphins. Garrapolo threw 2 picks in last few minutes of 1st half, the second one was as bad as you’ll see in the NFL.
 
The 9ers last year were pretty conservative on O relying heavily on the run. They looked like the nfl version of Iowa when things are going well. When injuries mount and opponents see what you are there is no element of surprise. CJ was chosen because he is a Hawk. The 9ers have no running game this year. They look very 2011-2014:Hawkish. Very painful to watch.

9ers gonna have issues keeping
any questions healthy. CJ isn't NFL material.

They are 11th in rushing yards, not 6th. Last year they were:
2nd in yards and 1st in rushing TDs. Last year they were 29th in passing attempts. They are 4th in rushing TDs, not 2nd. The 9ers are 16th in passing attempts.

Last year they got leads and sat on those leads. Not happening this year.

They have also played a very weak schedule compared to what is upcoming.

The 2 wins are against teams combined 0-8
Opponents are 4-15-1 with 3 of those wins against the 9ers.

Niners' opponents are 6-18-1. It's totally irrelevant to the Niners' rushing game, but it shows you can't even get your stats right. Where are you getting this shit?

Cardinals are 3-2
Jets are 0-5
Giants are 0-5
Eagles are 1-3-1
Dolphins are 2-3
