Per retweet of Marc Morehouse. The original tweet is from Marty Tirrell of XM Sports Des Moines.

Well, I don't know where the QB situation goes into the offseason with this news.

Applying the word "news" to a Tirrell tweet is an inappropriate use of the word "news". Not saying he's wrong, just saying his track record is not good.

Even Morehouse is saying he is pretty unreliable. I don't believe anything until Fort Kinnick releases the news.

If this turns out to be true then why/or what the hell was the reason CJ didnt get any snaps against Wisky and Nebby? Incredible. A sluggish first half against Wisky could have been overcome by one or two CJ drives. And the poor second half against Nebby with the 5 straight 3 and outs could have been overcome by an infusion of some CJ.

KF is the ultimate troll. Enough said. I see no way he starts CJB. If he does then why? Did CJB practice skills increase 10 fold this week. If not then it begs the question why in the hell didn't he start him X amount of games ago when we really needed him? Are all of us fans better coaches and can see things more clearly than the man at the helm? It makes no sense. Nothing in Iowa football makes sense anymore so we are right on course if this is stands to be true. "That's Football!"

I do believe CJB gives us the best shot to win the bowl game if anyone is questioning that.

This. One last chance this season for Kirk to give the fans the Jolly Roger.

Lol good lord some of you guys will complain about ANYTHING. If Kirk does this BAM, and if Kirk does that BAM. Judge, jury, and executioner. Get a grip.

It would be funny if CJ started had a great game and then transferred. If I was CJ I would not believe anything Careful Kirk told me.

If this turns out to be true (I have a wait and see, though I do have my doubts; this is one way to stop all of the CJ questions) AND Iowa wins, then I would think this is a foreshadowing of 2015. If JR plays most of this game, then CJ probably is still gone. CJ really got jipped this season.

It is ironic, the complaining about complaining. But suffice it to say that many folks don't believe kfootball, anymore, and there is always the very real possibility that this is just gamesmanship by kfootball to force Tenn to prepare for 2 qb's. We won't know until game time and throughout the game.

Well...I'm still on the Ferentz bandwagon...because...well...I am a sucker.

I would love to CJ start the bowl game...but a little bit of me would be pretty ticked off at Kirk...how would that rationale work? He's not good enough to play at all with a stagnant offense in 1st half of Wisky or 2nd half of Nebraska....but is good enough to start the bowl game? WHAT?

But at the end of the day...while the offense left a lot to be desired this year...I still maintain this year was a defensive problem...Everyone knew if Iowa got the ball back against Wisky we were going to win that game...and then the offense gave the defense a lead with less than two minutes left vs the Huskers....the facts are, when the bright lights were on...the Iowa defense wilted.

I don't think the trick would do much for our chances, if it is indeed a trick. If u prepared for CJ then u likely are covered if he doesn't play and JR starts.

Gee willikers. I had some hope when I thought morehouse was source.

Tyrell? If he tweeted. "The sun'll come up tomorrow" I wouldn't believe it.

I wouldn't even believe it if KF said it. I will only believe it when I see it. There is a track record for KF.

If he is playing then it has to be result of pressure from alot of sources, including internal and external to the program. Mainly internal. KF on his own, no way.

The coaches are on the road recruiting and the players are only lifting this week. They don't start up practice again till this weekend.... Pretty sure whatever 2 deep news being thrown out there is garbage unless someone got hurt. I guarantee you no qb decision has been made this week

I believe the correct term is "Gypped", as in, "screwed over by a Gypsy".
