When the stakes are the highest for the Hawks, put your money on the other team. Can't really see this team doing what they need to do down the stretch to win the regular season now. Wisconsin is more than capable and so is Indiana. OSU and Michigan will be tough. Probably a 2nd or 3rd place finish. Will be lucky if tie for the title with Indiana or Maryland.

Maybe they can win a game or two in the Big Dance.

All things considered we thought this was a fringe tourney team. Probably get a 3 to 5 seed. Not to shaby all things considered.

Mental toughness is just really not in this team's DNA over the long haul. Credit Jok's 3s at the end though.

And the BTT tourney.....well when was the last time we did anything in that racket?
 






I thought I was angry.. but wow some people need to step away from the edge.

The only choking I've seen is from the free throw line.

Yep......really wanted to see a regular season title since the 70s. Have to keep waiting probably. Actually I predicted this game a loss at the beginning of Big Ten Tourney season so it is not really that surprising to me.

Anyone who is surprised by this loss hasn't been paying attention.
 


Conference championship - likely gone. Any hope of a deep run in the NCAA tournament - damaged. I wish I lived in Vegas so I could put a whole bunch of money down on the NCAA tournament games. Lots of parlays!

I think about 99% of us would like to take that bet.

Not stepping of the ledge....just realistic. This team peaked several games ago. Other teams are hungry and Iowa can't over come it like a true top 5 team should.

When you can't hit from the line, your bench goes ice cold, and your stars can't collectively make enough plays to win, when you can't hit from the line..........this team has lost its magic.

They have to re-dedicate themselves down the stretch run, or they are going to be limping into tourney action.
 








Hard to get to upset when we couldn't hit anything all night including charity points.Not sure what the problem is,still time to right the ship but they have to put the work in and figure it out.

Think the problem is now they are playing the other teams game vs earlier in the conference season they were playing their game.
 


To think...Baer and Dom were playing like studs once upon a time ago. The law of bench averages caught up with them big time.

And no one on this team can hit a free throw consistently now. And JU is rather turnover prone all of the sudden for a Player of Year candidate. Woody gets pushed around and Mike gets swatted away with ease. And this team can't cover the 3 or defend the paint for easy lay-ups to save their lives. We give up long rebounds and over and over.

Iowa needs to get hungry again or fans will get MAD all over again.
