Even more impressive than this was the dunk he had that didn't even coun't.

He jumped a passing lane and got a steal and was heading for the Rim, as he gathered to go up someone from the other team grabbed a hold of him. He lost his balance and stumbled, went up off two feet and dunked the ball with his reaching back for the front of the rim. He didn't get as high but it was amazing he got up at all considering the play.

I read there the announced attendance was just over 9k, but that photo make that # hard to believe, unless maybe this picture was very late in the game?

9K was definitely an exaggeration...there MIGHT have been a couple thousand there, but nowhere near 9K.

After watching the tape, it looks like it was pretty full for an exhibition game. Probably 5-6k??

He had a pretty slick one hander against Minnesota at Carver. It was the bright spot in that game.

What I love about that dunk, was that it looked like he was going to just lay it in, thinking the Ohio St. player would contest this layup. Then since he doesn't contest it, May is like, oh well I'm here, might as well slam it instead. It was awesome! Thanks for re linking it!

I must be just out of the frame on the right of that sequence. I was sitting in the second row behind the Springfield bench. It was a very nice dunk.
