Change the floor

If Iowa's uniform is changing, so should the floor. Bring back the gold paint and the classic Hawk at center court.

Pretty sure we are looking into getting at least a new court for next year. The current court we have has been here since the early Alford years I believe and has a ton of gaps and dead spots in it. Don't know exactly about the painting of the court, but I definitely wouldn't mind a more classic sideline look with a giant tigerhawk at mid-court.

Iirc it is scheduled for a repainting. I think the black really pops on TV and I love the parquet flooring.
Pretty sure they won't be listening to me, though.

I actually think our floor and unis look pretty good. Carvers just not a wild place like some of the other places

That's not what I'm talking about. I mean the actual floor that is used was brought in early in the Alford years. It is garbage now because we have to move it around so much for various events. Floors aren't meant for that so it is worn out. We are looking into possibly getting a new one for next year, but that doesn't mean they are going to paint it a different scheme than it is now.

Definitely the classic Hawk that is not over sized works for me. We need to go back to the future of '55 and '56, 1970 and 1980 when the Hawkeyes won championships and played in Final Fours.
