Cezar Rushed the Floor!!!

That's awesome.

That was probably the best scenario that we could have ever asked for. The crowd was huge, the game was exciting, the fans were stoked and we won. I thought we might have had a 50/50 shot at landing him before the game but I'm now sitting at 90/10 we land him.

Great game!

When Bryce came out of the game with an injury... and our back-up Cully already injured for the season... Coach went with a freshman Marble. Do you not think Cezar realized HE CAN help this team? Do you not think he realized he has A PLACE here?
This team is a team that is just waiting to explode. We are going to miss Cole... but Archie showed signs of brilliance today, I don't know how? If Archie can play like this... why doesn't he more often? He was looking like a dog about to get a bone everytime Coach looked at the bench.

Marble played one heck of a PG today... Purdue tried to expose that Iowa didn't have a back-up PG and Marble held his own against the #6 team in the nation.

Got to love days like today. It feels so great!

He's always hurt.

Seriously?

After today... I wouldn't be surprised if Cezar commited before leaving.

Did anyone notice at the very end of the TV broadcast, you could see Fran walking back and forth under the basket and along the sidelines looking for somone? I speculated at the time that he's probably looking for Cezar and apparently he was out on the court! That's a classic!! I hope that's a good omen that he had a great time at the game.

We coudn't have made a better impression, that is for sure! If he doesn'tcome here then it isn't our fault.

Best possible scenario... I can't see him committing anywhere else. I just hope that's a glimpse of what's to come for the next couple years :D

You can't? UCLA is going to offer, and that will be a major recruiting hurdle for all schools involved. The Hawkeyes need him to commit quickly. The longer he takes the less likely that committment becomes. That euphoria tends to wear off.

UCLA just got a new Commit and they are already over their limit.

C'mon now. I hope he comes as much as the next Hawk fan but let's not get carried away. I'm sure he got swept up in the emotion as much as everyone and the Hawks' performance sure helped today but if UCLA or Kansas offers him you really think he's going to turn them down? At the very least it'll be a tough decision for him.

Do you know if that is including Tyler Honeycutt or Malcolm Lee against their scholarship total? For all we know, one of them (probably Honeycutt) could be leaning towards entering the draft.

Let me think about this. I am a recruit that has some interest in a team. I take an official visit and get so carried away I storm the court in celebration after they win? No... sorry, can't see that happening.
