Cezar Rushed the Floor!!!

I really think Cezar will be a Hawk! Big time environment today, the crowd was energized! He's energized!!!

UCLA - out of rides, Kansas - probably out of rides, second option anyway.

I think he really want's to come to Iowa. Seal the deal Cezar... You know you wan to!!!!

You can't? UCLA is going to offer, and that will be a major recruiting hurdle for all schools involved. The Hawkeyes need him to commit quickly. The longer he takes the less likely that committment becomes. That euphoria tends to wear off.

My hopes are just really high

I have the same feeling. plenty of PT available in IC.

The recruiting trip could not have gone any better. If he doesn't come to Iowa, then it wasn't meant to be. Can't hope for anything more than what Iowa showed him today.

I don't want to rain on the parade but I'm pretty sure he did not rush the floor. He was standing roughly where he was seated talking to Strom and then Bowen after the game watching the celebration.

However, he was on his feet down the stretch and cheering.

Completely agree. Iowa did everything they could today to put on a great show. Now we just have to hope Cezar realizes this is the place to play.

Chris Ferguson is the lead recruiter for Cezar out of Ok State.

They (Ok St) signed a 5 star kid out of Dallas but have missed on the other players they are targeting for the '12 class.

Travis Ford (head coach) suspended Ray Penn a week or so ago. He was a short PG/SG so it wouldn't surprise me to see Ok State really make a push to sign Cezar.

FYI - Ok St is an NCAA sanction waiting to happen.

I don't understand people like you. I'm sorry your team lost today, but what is the point of coming on here and trying to rain on Iowa's parade? Are you really that pathetic? (Rhetorical question: yes, of course you are)

Also - Ok State hasn't improved since Ford has been there. The guy can recruit but like some other great recruiting coaches he couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper sack. It wouldn't surprise me to see him gone this time next year if they finish below .500 in conference again. Too much money is pumped into the Ok St program.

I agree. It sounded like he was leaning towards Iowa before his visit. I'm feeling very good about him coming to Iowa. It'd be a huge boost to the program if he does.

Looks like he didn't storm the court, but he was in the background standing up loving the Basabe put-back dunk late in the 2nd half.

I feel good about this dude. I like his passion.

I certainly don't want to rain on anyone's parade but I had a bird eye's view of Cezar the entire game from my seat at CHA. He certainly did not storm the court. He certainly did have a huge smile on his face and was very pumped during the final stretch. He had left his seat and went back in the tunnel (bathroom I guess) when Basabe had the put back, which was very disappointing that he missed maybe the most exciting play in the game.
The majority of the second half he had his head down texting, hopefully telling all his buddies back home - "Hell yeah, I'm coming 2 Iowa".

stalker?

I was pretty sure they showed him in the background right after the Basabe dunk.

They showed him after the Basabe dunk from the Marble lob(the play that occurred right after Cartwright went down). Not sure about after the rebound dunk.
