Per a tweet from Evan Daniel at Fox Sports requested and was granted a release from scholarship today. Wanted to play closer to home.
 
Right before classes start? Something must be up.

How different would our outlook and the roster be if he came to IC only to leave after a year.
 
On a somewhat related note, 2012 recruit Ron Patterson was declared academically ineligible for Indiana.

I think the timing makes a bit of sense. Maybe he was dreading the return all summer but coaches or family convinced him to give it another try. A few days back in Stillwater reminded him of why he wanted to not go back so he ripped off the band aid and is going home. Good luck to the kid.
 
My understanding is that Rush Limbaugh is trying to have him deported anyway. He wouldn't have done us any good in another country. Rush always says take the caucasian guy, it's always the safest bet.

I have a feeling thet there will be those who regret not committing to the Hawks.....

Remember when he picked OSU? Most people were ready to run Fran out of town on a rail. Sometimes things work out. :)

What would that have anything to to with anything whether or not I have been ddrinking as though that ie anyone's business.....
