Tom’s pick: Iowa, 35-33 – There were a combined 85 points scored when these two met last year (kh-3 OTs will do that...). It won’t be that high-scoring this time, but the last team with the ball will win.
Brent’s pick: Iowa, 31-27 – Expect the Iowa offensive line to figure things out and give James Vandenberg time to throw the ball.

I love the 2.8 yards per carry figure to support their claim of no running back talent. Well, never mind the negative sack yards since they don't support the argument. We actually averaged 4.4 yards per carry...which is respectable in a close game.

Fair assessment. I think its a no brainer. Talent is more/less even....so it comes down to who makes fewer mistakes.

I'm pretty confident this game will hinge on turnovers and 3rd down conversion rate. Team that wins those battles...wins. Oh, and whomever scores the most points is important too.
