Cats and Clowns Kickoff the Season

You would think that Dublin would see this as a rare chance to showcase.

I know there's been rain off and on, but those field markings look pretty amateurish and subpar.
After our sixteen day trip there last fall I can assure you that the Irish truly walk to the beat of their own drum. Hearing the stories of the harsh conditions, rocky landscapes, how some parts of the country near Galway and Donegal didn't have power grids until the 1970's, not to,mention the social and political history with Great Britain which still evolves in the northern part of Ireland.

By the way we found the Antrim coast of Northern Ireland to be by far the most scenic part of the country and that's saying something. But it's more scenic than the Ring of Kerry, the cliffs of Moher, Slieve League, the Gap of Dunloe or any of that stuff (spectacular as all of it was)

Ireland really that small? You can go from Council Bluffs to Davenport in about 5 hours, and Ireland is smaller than that. Just thought Ireland was larger than that.

ISU safety got smoked on that route. Had his ankles broken on it.

Guess I am not ready for watching Bozo football

Watching the game from opening kickoff, and it is a borefest

Almost depressing to watch the Bozos fail on the 2 yard line

Entirely too gloomy

Over and out on this one

Go Hawks

And a population of only 7-8 million and that's if you include Northern Ireland. The big cities are connected by expressways but if you want to get lost on Ireland's back roads you may never be found.

Love everything about Ireland, my mother was 100% Irish

And I really like the Jack Taylor tv series, read all the books by Ken Bruen

We will absolutely go back! Gotta visit the Wild Atlantic way from the Dingle Peninsula to Donegal to experience rhe true authenticity of Ireland (and where some Gaelic is still spoken).

If in Dublin gotta get to the Temple Bar early if you want a table and for live music. Like around 9:00.

In the morning.
