Nothing against Payne, but the only reason he ever got the starting PG spot was simply because we had no one else to run it. He had his chance, but now IMO it's Cartwrights spot to lose.
This is the correct answer IMO. Our two PG's last year were Payne and Lick Jr, which is why Payne was playing something like 35+ minutes per game. I think Cartwright is proving that he should be the starting PG next year without question. It'll still be nice to have Cully back next year though and he will still get plenty of minutes I think - not near as many as last year though because he was playing tons of minutes out of necessity.
But in my mind, that's not really such a bad thing if we have alot of depth and we are rotating guys in and out alot, and minutes are being distributed more evenly instead of our guys being asked to be iron men.
