It seems to me the problem with Canzeri is that he is a RB in a slot receiver/kick return specialists body. But you can't use him as a WR/KR because he can't catch the ball that well and you can't use him as a B!G RB because my grandma could tackle him with one arm.
Your grandma cannot tackle him with one arm.
You don't know my grandma.
6'4" 250? Runs a 4.3 40?
Perhaps the Braintrust should put in some specific plays for him, such as jet sweep, tunnel & bubble screens? I think it is short-sighted to not try and utilize his speed. Or, how about some wildcat? Hell, even my beloved Steelers ran the wildcat yesterday. What would you do if Powell, Canzeri and CJ were lined up in a bunch formation?
Wouldn't be surprised if he transfers at end of season.
no kidding. You have to use what you have. Take a group and only work on 4/5 plays. Sooner or later youll need those plays no matter your identity. Plus working on select plays allows them to be executed at a very high level. Then it is much easier to make game time adjustments because instead of over thinking it, you throw in a "package" for a series and see how it works.Perhaps the Braintrust should put in some specific plays for him, such as jet sweep, tunnel & bubble screens? Send him to Wisconsin. They would know how to use him.
