Can we run the ball next week?

Going to be tough With no passing attack and no deep threat Ohio State will really load the box. We need to get our speed receivers down field and McNamara needs to make some plays or we in for a very long day.
I would like to see us move him out of the pocket to give him some time, but he hasn't shown that ability to date.

Johnson is good If he can have a good day against a loaded box of very good players and we can make some plays through the air bodes well for the rest of the schedule

Johnson has 180 yards rushing, but the team only has 250 yards total. Buckeyes with a minimum of five plays of over forty yards. I don't trust our secondary to figure it out as a unit.

For some reason, I think Lester is the type of OC that does well with a bye week. This offense and the QB room are still very much a work in progress and I think an extra week of prep time will give this team some time to prepare and get better. I also think Brown gets more reps as he learns the offense and has a chip on his shoulder returning to his former team.

My sense is that we will move the ball in the first half just well enough to keep our defense out of bad situations and it will be low scoring and field position football. We keep it close for most of the game but OSU has too many horses and they pull away in the 4th quarter.

I think Iowa is progressing, and will have a good year as we move forward, with the possible exception of the OSU game. I think beating them would require a perfect game, which includes a viable passing game. OSU's defense is really good and they will work to stop the run. I think Iowa will look great the rest of the year, but I'm putting zero faith in the upcoming game. I hope I'm wrong!

Probably not. Certainly not like we did against MN. If Iowa can't pass at all and tries playing in a phone booth with OSU all game long it'll get ugly. Feels like just a terrible matchup for us. Hope I'm wrong
