It's up to the coaching staff when it comes to me being optimistic these days. I have not lost faith in the players, except for JV, and wish that the coaching staff would take off the handcuffs and let these kids play a little. I knew the PSU game was over on the second play after PSU went up 17-0. The coaching staff made zero changes to the offense and seemed content to run the same plays that weren't working. Playing conservative is one thing, not making adjustments and not trying to win is another.
