It will be a great battle between Faith and Drew Ott with McMinn and Meier having a shot too at the de spot. They all are looking good at this point. Meier has shown great leverage and is picking things up fast. McMinn is showing a lot of improvement and a great ability to shed blocks. This competition is as intense as the QB battle.

Hard to imagine that Meier has both the size and knowledge of the position to get any PT.
 
Meier did play well in the spring game at DE. I believe he has put on some weight on too. On that note I would like to find out more about how DVC is progressing he has a lot of potential and a high motor. However he was listed at 230.

He is also scrappy and maybe even gritty.

Everybody has been saying this for 4 years now. Its time for a lot of these guys to start producing.


Im not saying you have been saying it for 4 years now Jon but we have all read year after year how CJ is going to have a huge year because of how he looks in shorts and a t shirt.

Just because he looks like a greek god, doesn't mean he still doesn't fall down at the first hint of contact. I swear if there was ever a guy that could have benefited from ballet classes, it would have been him.

All the morans who have once again annointed CJ the next great Iowa TE because of how he looks in gym shorts are the morans.
