Kirk is delusional that the highly touted kids are in the boat when they verbal. They are not until they sign. Asking a kid to have the maturity of a 60 yo head coach is ridiculous. You can't keep calling kids drama queens and then lose all the really good raw talent. It's an arms race not a social club FCS. If you continue to be 60th ranked class every year you won't be a top 25 team ever. We continue to pull in kids that are targets of Buffalo, South Dakota state and directional MAC schools. That means you'll win a game on occasion but you can't sustain a division competitive calibur program for long.
