Against a good defense at home, we managed an impressive 6 point offensive performance. Against a better defense in their home stadium, I am predicting we gain under 200 yards of total offense and get shut out.

Optimists, make me change my mind.

I will bet you 59010 Vbucks that we gain more than 200 yards, and score at least 2 points. I don't need to convince you of it, I am willing to bet on it, are you?

Indiana was up 10 pts in the 4Q on MSU.
I'm not saying Iowa wins in EL, but the Spartans are showing they aren't that good of a team.

If Indiana plays like they did yesterday I bet that on Nov 3rd they are up more than 10 points in the 4th quarter against that opponent..

Iowa has already shown that they aren't a good team and next will be down right ugly.

Indy didn't play that great. They were bailed out by the dirty play of MSU.

I'm not sold on MSU having a "better defense" than ISU and I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch over what you think enough to go "used car salesman" on you...if you want to be a pessimist, you and OoTH and the rest can send bitchie texts to each other and make all of the whinyassed posts and threads you want no matter what happens...it's what this place is for! Have at it!

MSU had about 150 yards rushing against Indiana yesterday. Bell averaged 3.3 yards a carry yesterday against a defense that has been porous against the run. I think MSU has serious issues on the offensive line. At this juncture, I would say our run defense is better than Indiana's.

I think our offense could get a bunch of chances to do something...the question is whether we can run the ball on MSU. I think its' a great match up because our OL looks to be developing into something special. This will be a measuring stick for them to see where they really are. MSU has proven they are a very good defense...so a good Iowa performance on the OL would add to Iowa's legitimacy. It's going to be fun to watch. I'm glad MSU won yesterday...coming off a loss and sitting at 3-3 would have added extra motivation.

Iowa - MSU will be closer than anyone expects. The score might, or might not reflect this, but I have a suspicion it will.

I expect the final score to be somewhere around the line of 10-0 or 14-0.

The best bet on this game is going to be the under.
