unfortunately I have an exam so I will not.
We don't collectively have enough talent to even be a bubble team. That begins to change next year. Im hoping to get one more win so we can get an all time great hawkeye a tournament of some kind. Lets just enjoy the effort. We're dominated inside. I think except for aaron white, we have the extremely short end of the talent stick. Melsahn has fallen far short of expectations. We need tenacity down low and have zero. That begins to change next year.

Agreed. It will be interesting to see how well Iowa can do next year without being able to ride Gattens. Looks like plenty of nice players are coming in, so should be an exciting year.

The bubble talk was a pipe dream thought up by the same delusional people that predict 20 win seasons every year. Even winning out regular season we weren't going to get the RPI under 100.

So the national media are delusional as well (not going to argue with you there, actually)? It's not like the only people talking about Iowa in the tourney were people on this message board. Doug Gottlieb, Scott Van Pelt, and the like have talked about the possibility. Also saw it mentioned during the OSU/WIS game earlier.

What a funny thread. Think about it. March Madness is just 17 days away and the team you root for has an RPI in theTriple Digits, that is not considered a bubble team.
Nothing has changed Iowa has to win the BTT to get in.

Seriously, beating 3 bad teams at the end of the year would NOT allow a 150sh rpi team to get in. If we had won by 50 tonight we would still not be on the bubble.
The fun part about a conference tournament is that we still have a chance. That's exciting and we've proven that when things go right we can beat great teams, I can't wait to watch.
I hope you miss some exciting basketball when Iowa wins the sucker!
Come to think of it, just stay away forever. If you don't watch this team you don't deserve to enjoy the success we'll be having in the future.
It was long shot anyway, but the team has made a lot of progress this year, but with a young team they are going to be very inconsistent on the road, expect more next year....Gatens was pretty much the offense again today some body else really needs to step it up to help him out.
