Fitz comes off as nothing more than intense, while Dantonio comes off that way, but seems to know what he's talking about.
Gotta love Dantonio getting asked something about Ohio State.

Said they were 12 plays from a good bowl game last year....I am guessing Iowa factors in there somewhere. Says they competed on the road, led in 4th quarters,but did not close the deal. He is screwed....IU will not win more than 2 games in the league this year, I suspect. Tough league to move up this year.

Wow, you guys have it all wrong about Fitzgerald. His kids love to play for him and they play hard. He is a great coach with great schemes on both sides of the ball. And he works his tail off. Their program reminds me of the Iowa program in a lot of ways.
He owns Iowa right now. Period. We can't seem to beat him.
Yes, he sells hard -- but you have to do that at a school like NW with very little football tradition.
We should all shut up until Iowa starts beating NW (hopefully this year at Evanston, but it will not be easy).

Danny Hope- PU....low-key,seems like he has racheted back on his coachspeak. I think this guy has a chance. Good recruiter. Unlike DickRod,he acknowledges that 90 players were on campus this year and had a good summer of workouts. No pending NCAA penalties makes the differance I guess.
PU has UMiami transfer starting at QB. Marve(sp)?...full of potential.
Hope really has brought in a bunch of southern players a la Hayden going to Texas.
I think they have a chance to upset some teams above them again this year.
