Brett Bielma up first. Lame jokes fall flat. Sunburned from golfing with media yesterday. Is saying that this is his most experienced team ever.

High expectations in Wisconsin. He likes that.

He keeps joking he is trying to build stronger relations with the media...has he been getting hammered by the press?

1st Question: Long time rivalries with Iowa and Minny could be threatened by expansion...what is your take?

BB: Says that one of the oft-expressed goals is ''Beat Iowa''.

Then goes on to pitch for season ending game vs Iowa,Minny or Nebraska.

Very few questions for BB.

2nd Question: Tweet. Any questions on football out there? LOL.

Cuz he talks the phoniest coachiest coach talk ever...and is followed to the podium by Zook...two peas in a pod.

And of course,Fitz closes his session with the Go cats!- junior high comment. He reminds me of my junior varsity coach who punched players in practice to make them ''tougher''...brain dead.
 
HOw can anyone wanna play for Zook, he just rambles and rambles about crap. No wonder he doesn't win, he spends all his time on the lake water skiing, and buying appliances with his wife hahaha

He seems to get a lot out of his players, though. I agree that it sounds phony, but his teams consistently beat talented teams. It frustrates the heck out of me, but despite the limitations that NW has, he beat Iowa and UW last year.
 
Zook when asked about playing NW at Wrigley:

WTF? The fact that he is a good recruiter makes me sad. Johnny can't read nor write if they can be wooed by a guy who struggles with the english language,presumably his native language....maybe Iowa coaches are hurt by their intelligence in recruiting vs Zook?

I have a list of coaches in the league I dislike and so far all of my top 5 have made the podium. Waiting on Brewster to fill out my list.

My coaching crap list: Fitz,Punky,Zook,Dickrod,BB.

Funny moment...Dickrod asked about what kind of summer a player had:...'' I do not know anything about what is going on in the summer''....LOL...guess when you get slapped down by the NCAA for extra coaching sessions on the sly...you play Sgt Schultz when it comes to summer development programs..eh Dick?

That BB joke about the rose bowl hat was just plain bad.

I don't really understand the hatred toward Fitz. I think hes a good guy and like how he runs his program.

I agree, I don't have any problems with Fitz, he's intense and loves his team and players, he's not about himself like some of the others that have gone today.
