Brust will visit Northwestern next week according to Weinstein

The only reasons I could see NW is because Ben really likes Carmody, it's close to home, and he knows a lot of guys on the team.

Wisconsin and Northwestern. It is obvious he wants to play a slower paced, set play type of ball. I imagine because he can be a spot shooter. Iowa is going totally opposite of this now and the opportunities won't be there for him as much. Fran sounds like he wants to penetrate and transition...not Ben's cup a tea.

But yet you think Payne is a good fit for Fran's offense?

If I were in Brust's position I would go to NU. The kid ain't going to the NBA, might as well get the best free education he can.

Payne will do very well in Fran's offense. His style was what Lickliter wanted him to do this year, not what Cully is capable of.

Exactly Stormin! Cully played in a Fran-like offense throughout high school.

But I bet it won't be as great as that Hoiberg-uptempo style. I saw some tape of it.......oh wait, there isn't any tape because it doesn't exist!

Than Wisconsin? Yes. Than Iowa? He** no!!

NW has best chance and legit chance to make tourney next year. Iowa will be lucky to win 10-15 games.

Anytime you make a prediction about a team making the tourney and that school has NEVEr made the tourney before, you might want to re-evaluate your prediction

Guys, no I am not saying he will be a Hawk...but he is not the one that filed with the BT for th is latest appeal. It was Wisconsin...they likely filed to have a chance. IMO, nothing has been finalized and Ben is still weighing his options. Take it for what it is worth...

spot-up shooters get better and more good looks in a transition type basketball system than a half-court system. the only reason bohannon got so many looks is because evan turner is a man-child handling the ball.

I'm having trouble figuring out what Evan Turner has to do with the open looks Bohannon gets?
