Brian Ferentz

I would love to have him as part of the IA program. He was a leader as a player, and a very good center (better than his bro but maybe not as nasty). He would be an outstanding coach...and is, it sounds like. Just not as DC.

Ferentz will be head coach until he is done coaching his grandkids.

I just got a nasty chill down my spine. Pls tell me you're kidding, e11en?!? :(

I don't want a "KirkPa" (or would it be KirkFer?) at Iowa. Gawd he'p us.

Many of you should just take a vacation from the board for a few days after today.

I fear if you don't, your heads will actually explode.

If everybody's heads haven't exploded yet, what with the 30+ threads about/related to the new DC hire, then I think we're safe.

Brian Ferentz would be a great addition. Talk about intense, but hes also a good guy. He would not be denied on the recruiting trail.

This could be an interesting dynamic.

Brian coaching his little brother and reporting to his dad.

As we all know younger siblings are eager to be bossed around by older brothers so this should work out just great.

Why yes freak, yes I do. :D
As long as he put's it in the recruiting zone, we should be legal, not?

Well as long as it is about recruiting it would probably be okay..not like the fake DC thread you posted. We both probably lost a post count of two when it got blown away. Who do you think did that anyway? Jon or spanky?

Could've been both I suppose. I'm not sure either one likes me. :(
Jon tries to break my balls when I voice concern about super serious cross-scripting issues with the site(okay I'm kinda a little bit of a smartazz too). Spank, he never answers any serious beer questions I throw his way.....

The deck is stcked against me here. That's why I counter-cheat when I can.

Sometimes fathers working with their sons is not the greatest dynamic, either.

James Ferentz is a better center than Brian....but Brian was good.

Brian was drafted, but had a serious injury (hip?). I don't think James gets drafted. Not the same build and not as cerebral. Very good, though. very good...and still some time to get better, so he may surpass Brian in the end.

James is better than Brian. Brian was an excellent leader though, and a smart guy. James Ferentz is a top-15 (post-Junior year) Ferentz-era Hawkeye lineman, however.
