Note that I said we’re the closest we’ve been. As always that hinges on the OL and wide receivers, but the TEs couldn’t really get any better, and the WRs really do look to be the best they’ve been in a while. We can’t know for sure, but in terms of and Iowa offense I do believe this is the closest we’ve been since Stanzi was the QB, and our current guy doesn’t seem to have quite as much of a turnover problem. If the offensive line is competent then this offense should be the prototypical “good” Iowa offense at a minimum, with a higher ceiling than usual.
