-----------------------------------------Yes, he's shown he can lock onto receivers, have no pocket presence and throw darts into the ground when a defender shows the slightest hint of pressure.
You can quote the 25-7 stat all you want, but the fact remains if JVB has the exact same year in all facets this year, our ceiling is 6-6.

You sound more like you're describing Jake Christensen. Vandy had his ups and downs, for sure. But he wasn't the reason we finished 7-5. There's a whole lot of blame to go around.
And though stats can be deceiving... the 25-7 number is hardly cherry-picking.
I might have to change my vote to CJ, considering the way his stats could skyrocket (per a previous poster) that would def be a breakout season. Even if it is somewhat expected.
Funny - in the games where JVB struggled, he reminded me very much of one Jake Christensen.
He showed signs that he is far better than that on several occasions so I'm not saying the two are comparable, but when he struggled, he struggled in a way that was Christensen-esqie.
Other than the sting answers already I will go with kirksey. If our dl can keep him clean he may have a great year.
