Breaking Down the B1G Title Race

Good stuff. Thanks! What I really like is that even a Badger board acknowledges that Iowa has the toughest road...fine with me. No one in the Big 10 can (legitimately) cry foul IF we win or tie for the championship.

basically we can only lose 3 more games the rest of the way out and if we do that its prolly gonna be a tie for the title with someone .

I don't know if this is on topic here...but seems relevant to the thread title. Only Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa and Minnesota have not lost back to back conference games this season. I don't think it's a coincidence that these teams are 1-4 in the league standings.

I wonder how he is defining the tiers, simply based on AP rank or Pomeroy rank? If I was the one creating the tiers it would look completely different.

Yeah, that's Pomeroy and is current. I agree my tiers would look different...probably much like yours. But I still think Pomeroy is the most accurate rating so I can live with this approach.

I think the #1 team in the conference will go 14-4 or better.

I would be very pleased to see Iowa at 13-5 -- I see 12-6 as a realistic and probable record. Just too tough on the road.
