Braxton Miller??

Do you think he stays at Ohio State with the season JT Barrett had? Too many fish in one pond. Ironically, I was looking at their roster on their Buckeyes site and did not see him listed on the roster. Is that because he was out for the year? I would think they would still list him. Found that rather strange. Funny if Iowa lured him away if CJ decided to leave. Seriously though, what's going to happen with him after a freshman puts up record numbers. Hmm.

Hopefully he would "be ready" in time to play a full year.

Our system is too complicated to reasonably expect a first year player to thrive. Braxton would need at least 3 years of riding the pines behind much less talented players to be ready.

The JT Barrett injury sure muddies the situation now. Prior to that, I don't think there was any way that Meyer could give the team back over to Miller. Now, if Barrett doesn't fully recover I'm not so sure. Ha, watch their 3rd stringer go out there now and light it up to really mess up the situation. (This is all assuming Miller's shoulder is back to 100%)

I would say Miller should use the 5th year senior transfer rule to transfer to Iowa, but its unclear if he could beat out Ruddock, CJB, or Wiegers in fall practice given his limited familiarity with the system. He could be a good pooch punter though.

Not sure Braxton would want to constantly hand the ball off when he's as much as a scrambler as he is. I'm sure however that he's filed all the appropriate paperwork needed to apply for grad school in Iowa City.

I believe Urban has stated Miller will be his starter next year, but I could be wrong.

What a problem to have, choosing between Heisman candidates, with a couple 5* redshirts waiting.

Just wow.
