You're right, but he just changed his situation from bad to worse. It didn't help with what he blew.
Hopefully he can take this in stride and learn from it.

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa football student-athlete Brandon Snyder was cited for an alcohol related offense early Sundaymorning in Iowa City.
“We are aware of the incident involving Brandon. While we are currently gathering additional facts, we are very disappointed to learn of Brandon’s involvement,” said head football coach Kirk Ferentz. “Brandon is subject to the rules and regulations of the UI Student-Athlete Code of Conduct, and the rules and regulations of our football program.”
Snyder saw action in one game in 2017 and is currently sidelined due to injury.

i hope he learns a life lesson. getting in trouble is the least of the lesson. not hurting anyone is a gift and I hope he realizes that.

I had an osu when I was 18 and probably the best thing to happen to me. I don't drink and drive anymore. This is a kid making a mistake and hopefully he learns from it. Thankfully nobody was injured

I, for one, am glad we have the Iowa City Police out there taking these criminals off the streets. Rumor has it they also arrested bystanders for chewing gum while watching them arrest Snyder.

Anyone who drives drunk within even the sightline of University Heights is a total idiot. Looks like he got called in by an off duty dispatcher, but it doesn't say which department. Prolly UH due to location.
