Boycott CBS!

I have decided to boycott CBSsports.com and CBS due to what they are allowing to pass as journalism by Dennis Dodd and have sent a note to CBSsports.com stating that. Will it matter? No. Will it help if a few thousand people start filling up their email with boycott notes? Maybe.

There is a 0% chance that you actually boycott CBS.

I wish I had the time to boycott every time I felt slighted by Tostitos or CBS OR ......
Either that or I need thinner skin.

CBS shows I currently watch, none. But they don't have to know that. Basically, if they get enough emails from pi$$ed off people there is a slim, very slim, chance something might be done to Dodd and Doyell.

Dennis Dodd is the Howard Stern of the sports "reporters". He doesn't care if you love him or hate him as long as you are reading his columns.

He doesn't have enough talent to survive on talent alone. Ignore him and I guarantee he will disappear.

nothing more than a slap on the wrist even with a bunch of pi$sed off emails/letters being sent. give it up, resistance in this case is futile because he is protected with his first amendment rights. That is why there is still WEED magazines in the world & authors can write about statutory rape and nothing will happen to them. Sure what Dodd said will polarize some people, but it will not affect my overall view of CBS. In Fact, I love March Madness and will watch every moment this year.

Boycotts need to start in places like this. No matter how ridiculous a story those two write, they shouldn't be linked here, and people shouldn't go and read the columns. In fact, I only ever read Doyel and Dodd because of links that were put up regarding the Iowa 'rhabdo-gate' situation.

"Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"?

I say let the guy get his message to as many people as possible. It is the best way of showing what an idiot he is.

hawkfaninTX,

I will have to respectfully disagree with your assumption that he is protected with his 1st amendment rights.

Whether his employment contract is written or verbal he is bound to honor company policies and procedures as a condition of employment.

Since contract law is supreme in this case, even above the Constitution, and if he violated any company policy he subjects himself to whatever disciplinary actions his employer deems apporpriate.

This. You're free to call your co-workers faggots, *******, *****, or any number of things. But chances are, doing so will cost you your job. You're well within your 1st amendment rights, of course, however, in this case your job's regulations will trump those rights. When you take on a job, you agree to follow the rules of the people you work for. If CBS feels like he or Doyel are breaking such rules, they are well within their right to fire them.

If I DVR NCIS, Criminal Minds, CSI, etc.... is that boycotting since I am not watching their advertising!!

Too many good shows to boycott, maybe just cspsportsline.
