Maryland and Rutgers should have no trouble adjusting to being in the Big Ten. They've already embraced the culture of losing bowl games. As soon as Michigan finishes getting drubbed, the conference will be 0-4 including next year's new members.

Wow, watched both Minny and MI. Both teams embarrassed the B1G. Up to Hawks to show true strength. I know Ohio State and Mich State are going down. What's happened to the B1G?

I have defended the B1G vigorously and used all the old excuses to do so (probably just so badly want to stop all the "B1G is weak talk" and want the Hawk's wins to have meant something)... but given MN, Mich, and NIUs performances against the teams they've played...1) the B1G is showing that the detractors may be correct and 2) I am getting less confident in the Hawks chances against a talented LSU squad.

I hope I'm wrong and the Hawks can have a strong showing, even in a loss.

As much as I would like to see the B1G show some strength, the best chances have already lost (and looked poor doing it). I still don't think I can get myself to cheer for nebby.

Feel the same way. Awhile back I read some Ohio st. Fans telling Nebraska fans that they were brought into this conference to help shore it up and they need to start winning! Well that has been a disaster. Now Michigan on the other hand has declined so bad that the chest beaters are starting to throw in the towel. Wished wee had all those kids with all those stars. How can you be a program like Nebraska and Michigan and just stink up the place. Nobody ever gives us a chance in he'll to do anything.......but yet we beat them both! Come on BIG 10 step up !!!!!!

No, 2008. 2009, we won Orange, O$U won Rose, Wisconsin won Champ's/Russell Athletic and PSU won Cap One.
