If your not familiar with the bottom 10 - they put a BCS school that has struggled in recent weeks at the #5 slot. This doesn't mean they believe Iowa is a bottom 10 program.

100% deserved. They could have been even lower (higher) on the list. I guarantee no one else on that list was even supposed to have a winning record this year, let alone make a BCS bowl like Iowa was.

We're in good company this year. Other teams that have spent time in the bottom 10 this year, Georgia, Penn State, Pitt, Florida, Texas, and Nebraska.

The "Bottom 10" is more of a wall of shame rather than actual rankings. A preseason national title contender that lost 3 straight (very nearly 4 straight) to close out the year with a 7-5 record certainly qualifies.

You're taking it too seriously. The #5 spot on each list is reserved for the AQ school that's sucked it up the most in the previous week or weeks. Iowa losing to a 2-9 Minnesota when they were favored by 2TDs+, and when that Iowa team was supposed to be the favorite for the Big Ten title.

The pink Tigerhawk is a reference, I'm guessing, to our pink locker room that's supposed to calm down our opponents?

You should read the thread instead of just the first post and you would have seen this post that was BEFORE yours. Again it is a weekly joke for a BCS school.
