Boise State...

Was looking around at the schools that will make up the new PAC12 conference and got to thinking...Boise State is going to have a permanent residence in the CFP.

That's buck wild. No other conference has a school that's so far ahead of all it's other members in football. There's OSU in the Big Ten, but the Big Ten will also send 3-4 schools every year. And I have to imagine it's going to do nothing but help Boise State's recruiting if you're going to pretty much have a guaranteed trip to the CFP every year. No other team is going to even come close.

Technically, they only get the automatic bid if they are one of the 5 highest ranked conference champs. It would seem likely that a reconstituted Pac 12 champ would hit that, but not guaranteed. And, it would not shock me if they tweak the rules again. It doesn't seem like anyone really like the current selection system.
