Boise State vs. Michigan State-OFFICIAL GAME THREAD IS OFFICIAL

Michigan had better scoring defense stats than MSU last year (they were #3 in the Big Ten, MSU was #4) and they have 8 returning starters on that side of the ball.

True but a great defense is key to winning championships. Maxwell does have to improve but all he needs to do is manage the game. Not trying to argue, just read a lot of tweets and recaps of game that had similar thoughts so was just asking.

How many ways can Sparty find to lose this game?

Surprised they didn't go with the "injury bug" when Boise State when to no-huddle. Even more surprised MSU didn't just keep pounding Bell. Passes to their WRs was and ineffective "alternative".

I'll never understand this. They play hard and they play smart. And it isn't like Peterson is out there pimping for BCS berths like some other coaches. I don't get what there is to hate. Especially in contrast to a sleazeball program like Michigan State.

He doesn't either. Someone else probably told him to hate them...
