Boise State-TCU Bowl Game

Would be awesome again this year! The Fiesta Bowl has got to excited about the possible rematch. Or maybe not! Can you imagine the squealing that would be caused if the BCS sticks it to them again!

I say they need to redo the BCS by adding a minimum SoS rating OR making the SoS be a bigger factor in the polls. Yup... I can see it happening... The Lil Brother Bowl.... TCU vs. Boise

I say let them play for the title. There's no way the SOS will become a bigger factor. It already essentially excludes schools like Boise and TCU. They can't help the fact that they don't play in the Big Ten or Pac or Big 12. They may very well be the best teams in the nation. Playing in a weak conference doesn't mean they aren't the best. It just makes them difficult to judge, because you aren't sure if they should be in the top 2. That's why we need a playoff.

If they rematch, s*it will hit the fan, whether it's in the Fiesta or the NCG.

Well, they will not meet in the National Championship and even if one were to be allowed to participate in it, which one of them do you take? I disagree... if I walk outside and take on all the 8-10 year old neigbhors on in 1 on 1 basketball and beat them all... do I flex, and proclaim that I am the greatest basketball player in the world? In the United States? In town? Or even on my block?

Boise State can say they are arguably better than Virginia Tech, and TCU... when was the last time they played a kid over age 10? Boise last year?

It's not a national championship if only the Big 6 conferences are allowed to compete for it. Either actually give those schools a fair shake, or go to a playoff. Because they'll never play for it under the current system. And they've played against and won against enough of the Big Boys the last several years to warrant giving them a chance to prove whether or not they belong, once and for all.

Boise State and TCU are smarter than the people who organized the BCS and they are within their legal rights to be taking advantage of the system through strategic scheduling and use of media through marketing. It is what has become assymetrical bcs warfare. AKA Terrorism on the home front based upon an enemy with monkey bars and oil.... I mean blue fields.

Like I said, I understand that it's hard to put them in when you're only picking 2 teams. But that's why I want an 8-team playoff. I have little doubt that they belong in THAT club right now. And if they can win 3 games against top 8 teams to win it all, then there would be little doubt about how good they are.
