Block of the game

I REALLY hate to say it, but the block of the game came in the first half when May tried to cross the lane and shoot one. I don't remember who it was, bt the ball ended up at mid court. Outstanding block, even if it was in the wrong direction.

I really disagree, that block had some authority, but May, as improved as he is, kind of crossed himself up, telegraphed his shot and released it low.

On the other hand, May's block on 2-on-1 break was fantastic. Played it perfectly, then blocked it at the top. Really fun play.

I also think May had the block of the game. From back in my playing days, nothing gave me more joy than snuffing the two on one break.

Ummmm no. On that play May was in traffic and just tried to throw one up and the ILL guy was just standing there and it was an easy swat. The one where May tracked the ILL guy down on the break and denied him at the rim was a way harder play and prevented an easy 2. May is therefore awarded block of the day.

Brian got me on that one with his longer lens but here's another angle and I think he just had tired legs similar to Dev coming up just short on his attempt just a bit later in the game.
