Big Ten West Games-Conflicted on Nebby at jNW

jNW has a really easy schedule after Nebby and Iowa. Man, if jNW could beat Nebby this week then jNW would be scary in control for a high finish in the west. After Iowa, JNW has Mich at home, at Purdue and Illinois at home, pretty easy, not a sure thing but maybe I have to go against my usual rule and ask for NEbby to beat jNW to knock jNW pretty much out of the race.

Now if Iowa can beat jNW that gives the hawks a one or two game lead (depending on this week's Maryland game) on jNW plus the tie breaker (effectively a 1.5 or 2.5 game lead in the loss column).

Again if Hawks keep winning of course it all takes care of itself.

Nebby has some tough games ahead of them. Glad jNW gave Wisky a loss.

Minny has a beast of a schedule the last 4 games.

OK, after writing this all out I am going back to my rule and a contender like Nebby needs to lose on the road at jNW but I dont see it happening.

Come on Purdue, win at Minny to give them their first loss and I can see this happening. Purdue improving.

Who wants Nebby to win this week?
 
I don't see it happening, but I want the 'Cats to win. We will then beat the 'Cats and have a little cushion for 6-2 to possibly get us to Indy. And as between the 'Cats, Nebraska and Wisconsin, if Iowa ain't going to Indy, I'd much rather see the 'Cats go than Wisconsin or Nebraska. Wisconsin and Nebraska fans are delta bravs on an epic level.
 
I want to see Nebraska win out til the Iowa game. This would put Nebraska as a top 10ish team. We need some legit wins over good teams, so we don't need Nebraksa stubbing their toes. Hopefully it comes down to Iowa vs Nebraska on Black Friday. It would be sweet beating a top 10 Nebraska team that day.

Very interesting, Iowa wins out to black friday as does Nebby and wow we have a really high profile game in Iowa City for a trip to Indy.

Not sure if Nebby's remaining schedule with all wins gets them into the top 10 though but a good thought

Hilarious. But there will be scenarios where we want Nebby to beat someone else. Be prepared for that time MHA. I know you can root for Nebby in those cases. Or hope for a 70 OT tie ball game
 
Does anyone know what time their game is? For me it all depends on what happens in our game. If we win I'll be be rooting for Northwestern to **** stomp Nebraska. But if we lose I'll be rooting for Nebraska to get embarrassed on national television. Then have the NCAA uncover violations and go all SMU on them. Then I want the Big 10 to give them the boot and all the other power conferences to shun them so they have to end up joining the MAC.
 
Tough call for me. I dislike NW more than Nebby...but I live just south of Evanston and hear too much about Fat Pat Fitz, the greatest coaching mind in college fb....just ask him.

So, I will probably root for Nebby to put NW out of their misery. Seimein is dinged up now, and Nebby might take him down.

Now, if NW wins, and we win over Md and NW, that puts us into a good position to possibly even enter Black Friday with a clinched division.
That would be nice.
