Big-10's real problem is its colors

Hard to tell friend from foe when any of those six teams gets together.

Suggestions

OSU--keeps red. Looks nice with the gray. Storied program. They get first dibs.

Wisky--change to blue. Aka spoiled cheese.

Indy--does it matter? Let them wear 100% white, both home and away. (Like the surrender flag).

Nebby--tough call here. Let them wear red I suppose, except when they play OSU. Then they wear a one-game burnt orange (like Texas). Sorry Nebby, but as the new kids on the block, you have to acquiesce to the older brother OSU.

MD--How about all black, all the time (sorry NW...no more black for you....you have to stick with purple).

Finally....Rutgers. How about Rutgers being our league's rogue dressers (aka Oregon)....the gawdier the better, with no two weeks being the same, road or home?

What say ye?

didn't think of that we were adding two more red teams. though Maryland is the one going the way of Oregon with their Under Armor gear.

Ahhh...didn't realize that. OK...that's cool. We'll let Rutgers be the Goth program while MD gets to dress like a schizophrenic.

I still like the thought of Wisky being in all blue...without an identity, since scUM is already "big blue."

Maybe powder blue since today it looked like UCLA has given up that. (PS...they may have been wearing these colors for years...I guess I haven't paid attn to them...but fwiw, I liked them.)

Point of order...

Indiana is the CREAM AND CRIMSON

Crimson is NOT red.

Just like Iowa State is cardinal and gold.

So there. You may continue...

Alright, I am now against Maryland joined the Big Ten. I am not a big fan of the Ducks uniforms, but they are freaking Armani compared to this. They can wear knock-off Nike Pro-Combat uniforms if they want to, but something that ugly shouldn't be allowed in the Big Ten.

Somebody else needs to go green, or orange maybe. Pink! That's it! Minny needs to show everyone how it's done and wear pink all the time.

I thought the problem was that all the teams in it except those that are barred from postseason are real schitty.

I must admit this is why I keep coming back despite all of the tired, moronic and negative threads. Actually something original and makes us chuckle in the year Iowa has no O and no bowl.

btw there is no racisism... however there have been a few colorist comments.
