Big 10 tournament session 2

Nothing else going on and Steinhaus will take a 1-0 lead into the 3rd period. Gambrall will start the 3rd on bottom and needs to get right out.
 
Gambrall fires out looking for reversal but doesn't get it and now Steinhaus riding him but Grant moving well and keeps getting close. Steinhaus now has 40 seconds of riding time as they go out of bounds.
 
Grant needs to keep coming... Steinhaus just riding him here and gets his minute of riding time now. Grant gets out but Steinhaus has 1:01 of riding time.
 
44 seconds left and Grant now gives up the takedown and Steinhaus leads 3-1 plus riding time and Gambrall goes right to his belly. Steinhaus wins 4-1.
 
Brands better do something to these guys in the next 2 weeks because it is really pathetic how they are getting rode and can't get out from the bottom.
 
Hawks are now 2-5 in the semis. We really need Luke and Rasing to step up big here and keep us in it with a HUGE wrestle back round coming up.
 
It's beyond disappointing how the #2 team in the nation is failing this badly when it matters. This is not Iowa wrestling. It's been snowballing since Ramos. Reminds me of Midlands.

This team is not built for tourneys. Tough duals team but duals aren't what matters.
 
Guys, the Hawks are losing a lot of really close matches. The sky isn't falling we still have a good shot at winning this tourney and winning in a couple weeks too. THey aren't far off. This is still a young team making strides.
 
I've got a buck that Gambrall is the Hawkeyes 184 pounder next year... Don't give up on these guys. Evans hasn't been through this kind of grind yet.
