when ever publicly traded companies or large private companies lay off employees they run it through a test to evaluate it by various categories. They don't want to be the target of criticism or law suit or bad press.

I don't know. But my point was that if 81% of the on air employees that were laid off were white guys, yet maybe only 50-60% of the on-air people we've seen on ESPN recently are white guys, the assertion that reverse bias played a small part isn't necessarily without merit.

Don't think for a second that the Big Cheeses at ESPN don't consider the optics of race and gender and political correctness when it comes to making such decisions. I mean, please.

those were just the ones on a list I saw. Id say there were about 50 on the list in total.
