Best & Worst of the Big Ten

vintage is to JD as JD is to Deace.

he's fortunate to have you have his back! ;)

also - will be interesting to hear if Deace cuts Herb Street some slack. Deace was all over Herb for his call on ND that they were overrated. Called him out for 'lack of analysis'. Guess Her'b's overrated call had it covered. sometimes too much talk is just that.

deace bagged on Herby?!? classic
fat little podunk David trying to get Goliath to notice him

baggin on him hard on his 1 hr. program with JD. all over him and how dare he say that ND is overrated without the backup analysis. and is was supposedly so hard for him to do so given his mancrush. supposedly he has a mancrush on ND's head coach as well, so felt a little torn, i'm sure.

is teh deacer a catholick? I mean, I thought he was a meatchicken fanboy?

he is. went to MSU for a semester or until they stopped taking his money, cheers for michigan, but is in love with ND's coach. also says he has a mancrush on Mr. Street.

very difficult for him, i'm sure.

I was in Michigan during Kelly's rise. It was impressive. But I can't imagine anyone could appreciate his sideline demeanor - particularly the way he loses his cool at his players.

I will take KF calmly going to the notepad over Kelly's temper tantrums any day. While it irked many Hawk fans over the years that KF didn't show emotion at times. Seeing him react to mistakes by noting them for teaching opportunities in the film room and practice field instead of jumping up and down and screaming at his players in front of 70,000 people shows just how much he is a great leader.

I have a question... you mention Prater's pick six, which was fantastic...but how do you leave off Michigan's Brandon Herron? The guy had a 94 yard interception return for a touchdown, AND a 28 yard fumble return for a touchdown. That has got to count as a top performance for the week, no?

I agree. I thought that one of his displays yesterday was particularly bad. It makes me appreciate coaches like KF even more.

Those tantrums are unseemly when you're winning, but way worse when you're losing.

I'd love to see ND lose overandoverandover. Having said that, I don't think I'd want to play USF in a non-conference game. They've got some athletes.

Best of Big Ten week one.

Nwestern big win for the Wildcats on the road vs a bcs team solid win for NU without Persa as well.

McNutt is going too have a great season.

Worst of Big Ten state of Indiana get that award PU pulls one out of the fire and IU gets beaten easily by BSU.

To be fair to Indiana, it wasn't a home game. It was a neutral site game, considered a "home" game for Ball St actually. But you should never lose to a team like Ball St. Tough start to the Kevin Wilson era.

Good call...bad omission.
