Best Case Scenario for BTT!

So if I am looking at this right, the best case scenario that I see is Iowa plays Northwestern in the 1st round and get Wisconsin in the 2nd round.

Wisconsin needs to win out (tough game @ MSU on Thursday)
Nebraska needs to lose the final two (vs Minn and @ Iowa)
NW needs to at least go 1-1 to finish ahead of Nebraska and get the #10 seed. (they get PSU at home)

NW is playing terrible lately and Wisconsin provides the best matchup for Iowa. This is all realistic, but Wisconsin needs to get a big win on Thursday. MSU and OSU both present difficult matchup problems for Iowa.
 
Yes, every game will be tough. I just feel like we match up better with Wisconsin than any of the other top teams. I would feel more confident with that game than anyone else.

If WIS wins out, we would need Indiana to beat MICH. If they don't and it is a tie for the title, WIS would be the #1 seed in the BTT, not #2.
 
I'd rather that Minn loses out (final 2 games on the road) and Illinois loses to OSU, giving us 6th all by ourselves. Then have whatever needs to happen for Wisky to get the #3 seed.

Nebby beats Minny losses to Iowa
Minny Loses to Purdue
Illinois beats OSU for RPI reasons (Iowa has the tiebreaker)

Iowa gets the 6th seed and plays 11 seed NW and potentially the #3 seed in the second round

6 Iowa vs. 11 NW
7 Illinois vs. 10 Nebby
8 Minny vs. 9 Purdue
 
I want NW, WI and then OSU. It's possible. I would have said Wisconsin was more likely to win at MSU than OSU was to win at IN so...

MN wouldn't have to lose to Purdue as long as Purdue also doesn't beat Michigan. Pretty sure we win three-way tie with MN & IL (2-1 record vs. 2-2 and 1-2). If Purdue get to 9-9, and it is a 4-way, I don't know what happens.

Interesting, i was thinking of a head to head tie which Minnesota would win because of their win vs. IU.
 
B. Multiple team tie:
1. Results of head-to-head competition during the regular-season. a. When comparing records against the tied teams, the team with the higher winning percentage shall prevail, even if the number of games played against the team or group are unequal (i.e., 2-0 is better than 3-1, but 2-0 is not better than 1-0).

IF this happens, then I think Iowa is in. I can't see the committee taking 2 B1G teams that finished 7th/8th over the 6th place team. I could MAYBE see the committee taking Illinois and leaving both Iowa and Minnesota out, but in this scenario, if Minny is solidly in then Iowa makes it.
