Beathard is not a leader

He does nothing it seems to get the team going just stands there with a blank expression...this team has no fight

If CJ is looking ahead to the NFL......It stands for "Not For Long" the way he is representing. JMO

He's definitely lost something from last year. maybe ts injury, maybe it's coaching, or a combo of both.

Slow decisions to tuck and run and what seems to be worse pocket presence.

Sideline reporter said absolutely no emotion on sideline (except for KF). That silence says a ton.

He just looks so slow out there.... nothing like the guy from last year.

He has to be hurt right?

It's just not the same guy at all.

Maybe the value of a 5th yr, 3yr center (A Blythe) can not be overvalued..... lots of line calls that can QBing easier

Sure.. but I'm talking about after the ball is snapped. He just moves slow... he doesn't dart onto the perimeter anymore... but more like an inching turd.. then he just kind of gives up and chucks the ball... its just so strange.

Hard to be a leader when you're constrained by your coaches.

I am starting to believe this is a big the difference from last year. Along with poor routes, schemes, playcalls, he has had confidence coached out of him.

he's timid and eats way to many interior sacks...something he rarely did last year.

It's not just one thing, it's an unholy combo of many. ultimately, his OC (and maybe HC) are putting him in positions to fail.

When he has time and a little rythm, he still looks good.

It's honestly just an astounding difference in terms of aggression this year. Last year we ran a somewhat aggressive offensive scheme; this year it's nonexistent. Amazing.

Did anyone see some of the pass blocking too? There were multiple plays where one or both of our tackles were shoved all the way back into CJ? We had OLineman standing around while the pocket collapsed in seconds.

CJ has not been great this year but how could anyone be with this joke of an offense and pathetic OLine? All this crap about teaching 'great technique' when football is about speed, athleticism and toughness.

I think CJB is physically and emotionally beat down at this point you can look at his face and tell football isn't very fun for him right now. Watching him for the last 3 years the talent and skill set is there I think a combination of a bunch of things have made him a shell of himself.
