BCS Guru....Hawks 18th...Boise #1

These are basicaly the BCS rankings formula. Minus one computer poll that doesn't start coming out till next week. I'm still hoping for the blowup the BCS dream matchup of Boise/TCU. Ways to go, but as of right now looks like it's not impossible.

I've changed my mind. I now want Boise St. in the title game. I don't think TCU will get past Utah, I think Oregon will go down to somebody on the road in the Pac-10 and it could be the Oklahoma-Nebraska winner against Boise for the title.

Agreed. If Iowa doesn't get into the NC game, I would laugh my a$$ off if the Boise/TCU matchup happened. I just REALLY REALLY REALLY hope Nebraska loses at least 1 game this year and doesn't get to play in the NC game and I would absolutely love it if Iowa State beat them.
 
From here on out, even with Boise St. winning, they are going to drop like a lead balloon in the BCS.

Actually now u mention Utah, they maybe the better BCS buster to root for. They allready got wins over pitt and Iowa state and still got tcu and notre dame on the schedule. If they were to stick it to ND on national television they migth have a shot. Boise/Utah I think still blows it up.

Iowa State wont stay within 4 td's of Nebraska this year.
 
The powers that be would NEVER allow a Boise-TCU national title game if they can help it. Unless, of course, there's something in it for them...

Unless those powers are coaches, harris poll voters, or computers, they will have no say.
 
The difference between Iowa and Missouri at 14th is less than 0.05 points. A solid win over Michigan this weekend and Iowa will probably open the BCS Standings 12th - 15th depending on upsets.
 
BSU and TCU would be a horrible NC game. It proves absolutely nothing other than two teams with schedules full of nobodies went undefeated. One thing I hate is that Nebraska has a pretty good shot at the NC game.

I know it would be horrible, but with Iowa out I'm hoping for it, cause if it happens they will almost certainly go to a playoff(at least a +1).

But it would be horribly boring, especially since it would be the 3rd straight bowl game they have played each other.
 
Yea I guess I see what you mean...I like the plus one but if it is an 8 or 16 team playoff it really waters down the regular season. It sucks we are basically out of it but the fact is we should have beat Arizona...

4 TD's? That's if they're feeling nice... and I bet they aren't. I wouldn't be surprised if they get close to 80. They haven't forgot about last year's upset, and it's the last year they play each other... it'll get ugly.

I agree that Utah has good chance at beating TCU ... then Utah goes to South Bend on NATIONAL TV ... Boise/Utah in the NC? (AKA what WhitUp said)
 
Don't forget a lot of these so called experts picked Michigan over Michigan State.

Boise will win out but they are going to lose ground every week because of their schedule. Every other team in the top ten plays in a real conference so they all have a chance of losing.

And after Iowa beats Ohio State they'll drop....
