That's 3 on the team along with White and Marble. I'm guessing Uthoff and Gesell will get there before they are done. Jok and Woodbury could but it's way too early to say so with confidence. I wonder when Iowa last had 5 (or more) eventual 1,000 scorers on the same team. I have to think one of Mr. Davis's teams did. Anyone have any idea?
How many players are in the 1000 point club at Iowa?
If I am looking at this list correctly I think Iowa is at 42.
Found it, 1982 had 6 on the same team.
Greg Stokes (freshman)
Kevin Boyle (Senior)
Bobby Hansen (Junior)
Michael Payne (Freshman)
Kenny Arnold (Senior)
Steve Carfino (Sophomore)
Windsor, you might be right as this years team could end up with as many as 6 thousand point scorers before it is all said and done. Gesell should easily get there, Uthoff will have to do it in 3 years but he is off to a good start, Woodbury has an outside shot at it, and Jok could get there.

Where is an up to date list? I've googled the heck out of it and can't find one.
I got a chuckle out of Basabe's interview with Dolph and Bobby last night. He enjoyed his points going to the 1,000 mark, but wanted to talk more about his rebounding. He asked Dolph who was just above him on the list and its Don Nelson. Not sure, but I don't think Mel knew who Nelson was. Anyway, Mel thinks he can move ahead of Nelson on the list and he told Dolph and Bobby to hold him to that. What a kid. We can be very proud that he is a Hawkeye!
Basabe played with intensity on both ends of the floor. Iowa is a different team when he shows up mentally and physically. Granted, it was NW, and I hope we don't get the other Basabe on Sunday, as his athleticism will be sorely needed against OSU. He has certainly been much more consistent this year than the last two.
