Noticed Basabe becoming more of a vocal presence and an example for the younger guys. I love it.

What evidence do you have to the contrary? Intelligent guy, plays hard, seems liked by his teammates, makes sacrifices and is an upperclassman. What am I missing?
Basketball IQ is not one of Mel's strong points, so I'd disagree with the "intelligent guy" comment big time.

I wouldn't refer to Mel as having a "low" basketball IQ in the first place. He's obviously a smart guy, though. Just watch one of his interviews.

Agree there is a distinction between being a smart (or not so smart) guy vs an individual's basketball IQ. However, Mel's basketball IQ is not a strength of his. Not knocking the kid. Simply stating a fact.
Dude, you we the one who literally said that you disagreed with him being an intelligent guy "big time." No one even stated that he had high basketball IQ.
I said he was intelligent, you disagreed with it "big time," and then you started randomly rambling about basketball IQ, which we all agree is different than being intelligent. Which, by the way, you "disagree" with. "Big time."
