Wouldn't it make more sense for a school like Iowa to have a Lear jet or something like that?
 
Didn't Ferentz request 'private jet' airtime be added to his contract this last go around? I seriously doubt that U of I's private jet is a Cessna! He wouldn't send those families headed to the U of I hospital around in that. Keep researching...

He didn't request it, it was added by Barta with the last extension.

I would bet this crackerjack prize plane is used for recruiters going to check out players, NOT Barta or anyone worth a deuce to the university. If they wanted to go "undercover" there are much better ways to do it without resorting to white trash methods leaving from the cornfields in BF, Iowa.
But having said that, I do not find this creepy at all. Very retarded and very time consuming and for what? Finding out 2 mins before everyone else does? There is no tracking bonus if by chance you cracked the code. You may get a pat on the back or an atta boy from a few of us here, but nothing more. But if you have the time and the passion, then go for it. I may make fun of you or call you every other name in the book, but I won't call you creepy

I have made a handful of posts in the past few days. I have spent maaaaaybe a total of a couple of hours tops on here. Everyone on here is passionate about Hawkeye athletics- so I don't see how it matters or my observations, especially about something as dumb as a private plane would "anger billions of Hawkeye fans"
I bleed black and gold so if you would like to cast the first stone to find out, then by all means, hurl away
