Wisky is playing great right now,blowing out the Illini and beating IU on the road. Wisky played flawless ball in both games. Hopefully,they are due for a bad game. They have a tough lineup. If we get behind,it is going to be very hard to beat them.
I think most everyone agrees that 11-7 puts us in the tournament. I don't believe any game is a must win. I do think 11 wins is a must if I want to sit in front of my television on Selection Sunday and only worry about our seed and our region...rather than whether we will be playing.
We have to go 10-4 the rest of the way to get there. I sure do think winning at home against Wisconsin would help tremendously. I also think there are unknown variables at this point. If we had Marble for MSU I feel pretty strongly we would have won. If Thomas rolls an ankle and can't play when we travel to OSU I think that becomes a winnable game...just throwing out a hypothetical. There's a long way to go and not many would have picked Wisconsin last night so let's go ahead and play the games and see what happens.
